Vasile Deleanu graduated the from the University of Bucharest Law School in 1972. He holds a Post-graduate courses in International Trade Law (1977-1978) and Post-graduate courses in English at the Bucharest University; also he acquired Phare consultancy competences ( Phare courses for small & medium-sized companies’ development 1993-94) and Trade companies’ assets evaluator courses at the National Privatisation Agency in commercial and fiscal law;

He is a Lawyer within the Bucharest Bar Association since 1995, member of the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners since 1999, member of INSOL Europe – the European organization of Insolvency, since 2003, member of the French-Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Romania and of Amcham Romania;

Since April 2006 he is Member of the Board of Warwick Legal International Network (www.warwicklegal.com).

He was elected member of the National Leadership Board of the Romania National Union of Insolvency Practitioners in 2004 and he holds this position ever since.

Mr. Vasile Deleanu holds the position of Arbitrator of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also Arbitrator of the Arbitration Court of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Sibiu.
