A Brief History of the Firm

Our law firm was established in June 1996, according to the provisions of the law 51/1995 - the Law for the Organization and Practice of the Legal Assistance, a law which replaced the former collective organization system in which this profession used to be practiced.

At first, our firm functioned with a small staff, a lawyer and an assistant and the auxiliary personnel.

In time, while our activities, the clients and the firm\`s success have grown larger, we attracted new partners and associated lawyers.

Of a great importance to our professional level was our collaboration with senior lecturer Dr. Viorel Ros, former president of the Bucharest Court, who has published a great number of works on intellectual property law.

Also, our field of activities has expanded, adapting to the market`s and our clients` requests, trade companies with both state (public) and private investments, Romanian and/or foreign.

In 2002, our company has been selected by European Legal 500, the top 500 law firms in Europe, to appear in their 2003 issue (www.legalease.co.uk).

In the same year, the United States of America Embassy in Romania chose us, among other four law firms in Romania, to appear on their web-site (www.buyusa.gov/romania/en) as companies they recommend to the US investors.

The French-Romanian Chamber of Commerce has also done us the honor of inviting us to join it, which we did in 2004.

We are also proud to have appeared, through our coordinating partner lawyer, in the very 1st Edition of Who’s Who in Romania. The following edition continued to mention us.
